Anna Jay’s AEW Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

A new report notes that Anna Jay’s contract with AEW is expiring in the relatively near future. Fightful Select reports that the TayJay member’s contract is believed within the company to be expiring “the next few months.”

The report notes from a source that they expect AEW to attempt to retain Jay under contract. There is no word currently on whether contract talks have begun.

The report also notes that Jay is said to enjoy teaming with Tay Melo. However, she is also “open to” doing what’s best for herself career-wise. That includes potentially exploring free agency.

TayJay was part of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. They lost to Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir on Dynamite.

Anna Jay has been with AEW since AEW All Out in 2019. She officially signed with the company in April of 2020.
