Athena Says She’ll Teach Billie Starkz a Lesson At ROH Final Battle

Athena is not happy about Billie Starkz turning on her, and plans to teach her former Minion a lesson at Final Battle. Athena will defend her ROH Women’s World Championship against Starkz at Friday’s PPV after Starkz, tired of being abused by Athena, turned on her and called for a title match on a recent episode of ROH TV. Athena spoke with Under the Ring about the situation, noting that she is going to teach Starkz what it means to be an adult.

“Chaos has ensued,” Athena said (per Fightful). “I feel like I’ve given Billie the world and she’s just not grateful. She’s that rebellious teenager that doesn’t understand that this is how real life works. She’s still in that, ‘Hey I’m an adult, it’s sunshine, rainbows, and happiness,’ that type of thing. I’m sitting here like, ‘No this is the real world, this is how this happens.'”

She continued, “She has turned on me and going into Final Battle, it’s not about me reclaiming my championship, it’s about me teaching Billie a lesson that she rightfully deserves.”
