Athena Says She Expects a Massive Celebration After She and Mercedes Mone Win the AEW Tag Team Titles

Athena and Mercedes Mone haven’t even been crowned the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions yet, but Athena is already expecting a big celebration after they win the belts. The ROH Women’s World Champion commented on her expectations of a celebration after they win the titles via social media.

Athena and Mone will be competing in their first-round matchup in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament tomorrow night on AEW Dynamite. They will be facing off against the team of the Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) in the opening round.

AEW Dynamite is being held tomorrow at the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas. It will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm EST. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max. Here’s the current lineup:
