The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) overcame MegaBad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) to retain the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship at Grand Slam: Australia.

The final sequence of the match saw Cameron and Nightingale drop Bayne with a Senton for a near fall. Nightingale followed it with a Death Valley Driver. Cameron missed an attempted Swanton Bomb, and then Ford caught the Australian with a Stunner before Bayne hit her with a Lariat.

Ford then went for a Moonsault on Harley Cameron. However, the latter rolled out of the way and then caught Ford with a backslide to secure a pinfall victory for her team. However, the night didn’t end well for the Babes of Wrath, as they were attacked by Lena Kross after the match.
