Backstage Note on WWE’s Plans To Run Future Shows Against AEW PPVs

WWE presents Worlds Collide later tonight. The event is being held in Chicago at the Allstate Arena, while AEW presents All Out 2026 in the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates. F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez reported on how WWE intends to handle holding WWE events opposite AEW pay-per-views in the future.

Although Worlds Collide is running head-to-head with All Out in the Chicago area, the event is not being broadcast live. It will instead stream on YouTube via delay on Wednesday, September 30.

According to Alvarez, WWE intends to run more house show-type events against AEW PPVs in the foreseeable future. He wrote to subscribers on his X account, “Tonight’s WWE house show versus the PPV (although it will air Wednesday versus Dynamite) is not the last time this will happen, although when, where and broadcast ideas may vary depending on how this week goes.”

Tonight’s AEW All Out 2026 at the NOW Arena will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. WWE x AAA Worlds Collide will stream exclusively on YouTube at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
