Backstage Update on NXT TV Tapings Location

– As previously reported, WWE is starting a long-term residency at the Amway Center in Orlando starting with this weekend’s Summerslam 2020 event. The Raw and Smackdown tapings are also being held at Amway Center. However, NXT TV tapings and NXT TakeOver: XXX will still be held at Full Sail Live. A report by Fightful Select has more details on WWE opting to keep NXT at Full Sail.

Per the report, multiple sources said the plan is to keep future NXT TV tapings at Full Sail Live while the other shows are being taped at the Amway Center. The August event schedule mentioned NXT TakeOver on August 22 and NXT TV on Wednesday, August 26 both being held at Full Sail Live. So, it appears that NXT is staying in Full Sail for both the months of September and October during the WWE residency at Amway.

Additionally, WWE recently opened a temporary training facility that will be used by the NXT talent.
