As previously reported, the rumored lineup for the men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series would’ve featured The Vision’s Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, along with Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory, against the team of CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and either Jimmy Uso or LA Knight. However, Seth Rollins later suffered a shoulder injury in his match at WWE Crown Jewel Perth, and he’s expected to be out of action for six months following shoulder surgery.

During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided new details on WWE’s plans for the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, with Seth Rollins no longer being a factor.

Meltzer stated, “Seth’s replacement in WarGames is going to be Logan Paul.” He added, “Even though Punk did this thing of knocking Roman Reigns, my gut is — they’re still the plan is Punk, Roman Reigns, The Usos, you know, on that team with probably LA Knight as the other guy.” Although Jacob Fatu was rumored for the bout, he is also injured and out of action at the moment.

Meltzer noted on Jacob Fatu, “It could be Jacob if he’s okay to wrestle, but he just had his surgery, so I don’t know if he’s going to be okay by the end of the month.” The exact nature and severity of Fatu’s injury and his surgery are unknown.

WWE has not yet revealed the participants of the WarGames matchups. WWE Survivor Series will feature both men and women’s WarGames bouts for the fourth consecutive year.

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames takes place on Saturday, November 29 at Petco Park in San Diego, California. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
