Bandido vs. Volador Jr. ROH World Title Match Set for This Friday’s CMLL Show

AEW star and ROH World Champion Bandido will make his CMLL return later this week with an ROH World Championship defense. Bandido will defend his title against Volador Jr. at the event (see below).

Volador Jr. previously defeated Bandido on the May 17 CMLL event, beating Bandido in a non-title bout. Now, Volador Jr. is looking to win the big prize with the ROH World Title on the line. The CMLL card is scheduled for Friday, May 22 at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

It’s been a busy month for Bandido. He just defended the ROH World Title against Blake Christian last week at ROH Supercard of Honor 2026. Two nights after he defends the title against Volador Jr., he’s also set to face off against Swerve Strickland in the quarterfinals of the Men’s Owen Hart Cup tournament at AEW Double or Nothing.

As previously noted, Swerve Strickland attacked Bandido at Supercard of Honor after Bandido’s title defense. Bandido later called out the former AEW World Champion for his ambush.
