Bianca Belair says that Triple H pitched the idea of her revealing her pregnancy at WrestleMania 42 and explained why it almost didn’t happen. Belair appeared on night one of the PLE in a segment with John Cena in which she revealed that she was pregnant.
Belair posted her latest vlog online, in which she and Montez Ford talked about the reveal. Ford noted that the original plan was to reveal it the week before for Belair’s birthday, but Belair said that Triple H suggested the WrestleMania reveal. She said that due to the WWE CCO being busy with WrestleMania season it almost didn’t happen. You can see the highlights below:
Ford On the Original Plan:
“I told you about this. We planned to go to Miami from April 8th all the way to April 12th. And we were going to announce it on Saturday. Well, actually on her birthday and then Saturday at the party, everybody knows… And then once we got to WrestleMania because we’re going to go this year, everybody already knows, so it’s kinda like, cool. Now that this is happening, completely changes everything. Because now, we basically have to keep hiding her for another four weeks.”
Belair On Triple H Pitching the Reveal:
“So originally, I texted Hunter. Because when I first told Hunter I was pregnant, he was super excited, And he was like, ‘Oh, how do you want to announce it?’ And he was like, ‘What about Wrestlemania?’ And I was like, ‘Oh. Well, like me talk to [Ford] about it. That would be cool, I mean at least I could still be part of WrestleMania.
“But I was like, ‘Let me think about it.’ Because I was like, ‘I’m enjoying this bubble’ and was in a space where I didn’t want to announce it. I honestly just wanted to tell my family and friends and just hard launch a baby, maybe. ‘This is mine. I don’t want to announce it’… So I said, ‘Let me think about it, let me think about it.’ Finally, we were talking and I said, ‘Let’s just do WrestleMania.”
On the Announcement Almost Not Happening:
“So I didn’t really get a text back for a while because like, it’s Mania season. They’re busy, of course. So, then I’m like, ‘Okay well, maybe it was an awful idea. Maybe it’s a no.’ I was like, ‘Okay, fine. F**k it. I’ll just announce it on my birthday, which is one week before Mania. And so we got dead set on that and like, ‘Let’s announce on my birthday. We’ll just post it and when I go to Mania, I can just like go around and party around Vegas.’
“And then we were dead set on that, and then Hunter texted me back and he was like, ‘Oh, sorry for the delay. Yes and yes.”
