Backstage Report on Bianca Belair Possibly Returning to WWE

Bianca Belair appears close to returning to WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, her long recovery period is nearing its end, putting her firmly back on WWE’s radar for a surprise comeback at Royal Rumble 2026.

Bianca Belair has been out of action since she broke her finger on her left hand during the WrestleMania 41 triple threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. However, Dave Meltzer now believes she “should be ready” to resume in-ring competition in Riyadh.

It should also be noted that Belair currently has the second-highest odds of winning the Women’s Royal Rumble on many betting sites.

The former WWE Women’s Champion has not wrestled since spring and was last seen as a guest referee for Jade Cargill vs. Naomi at WWE Evolution in July. She has been mentioned alongside other expected return candidates, including Tiffany Stratton.

WWE has a long history of using the Rumble for major surprise returns. The EST’s explosive athletic style and past victory in the match make her a natural fit for that moment. If she does appear, Belair would instantly reshape the road to WrestleMania. For now, fans are watching closely as one of WWE’s biggest stars edges closer to her return.
