Big E. Praises Xavier Woods’ Impact In the Ring And Out

Big E. is very proud of Xavier Woods’ work, not just in the ring but what he’s done outside of it. The New Day member spoke about what Woods has done for the stable as well as his work backstage on After the Bell with Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick. On Woods acting as the manager for Kofi and E. early on: “I’m so proud of [Woods and] not just what he’s done in the ring. When he was on the floor, he brought so much to our act … because he was so wildly entertaining. It really helped us get off the ground.”

On Woods’ talents backstage and as a performer: “Outside of the ring, this man has created jobs. He’s created a gaming channel that brought the locker room together [and] got the boys and the girls paydays … I don’t think we will really understand the impact that he’s had on the industry [because] much of it might be behind closed doors.”
