– According to Page Six, Bill Simmons’ first project with HBO will be a documentary on Andre the Giant. The site reports that the Andre documentary will be Simmons’ first documentary on the deal he signed with the premium cabler after leaving ESPN.

Simmons left ESPN in May after drawing heat on the network for his criticism of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who he called a “liar” over the “Deflategate” controversy. He signed his deal with HBO in July, and it officially began last month.
