Brody King, Mark Davis Advance In Owen Hart Tournament On AEW Dynamite

Brody King and Mark Davis have advanced in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, winning their matches on AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s episode saw King defeat Claudio Castagnoli in the first round of the tournament, while Davis defeated Jack Perry.

King and Castagnoli went 12 minutes as they battled back and forth, until King was able to block an uppercut and hit a huge lariat to pick up the victory. Meanwhile, Davis picked up the win over Perry after the AEW National Champion went up top but lost his footing, leading to Davis hitting an Avalanche Piledriver for the win. King will now face Swerve Strickland in the semifinals of the tournament, while Davis will battle Will Ospreay. Strickland and Ospreay advanced to the semifinals at AEW Double or Nothing. The tournament final takes place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28th, with the winner earning an AEW World Championship at All In: London.
