On the latest episode of Something To Wrestle With, Bruce Prichard talked about the clip from WWE Unreal, where he snapped at producer Chris Park (Abyss) during a show and caused fans to label him a bully. The moment happened in the first episode of seaosn one when CM Punk and Seth Rollins went over time on the Raw premiere on Netflix, with Park as producer of the match.

However, Prichard denied those allegations and stated the reaction comes from those who do not understand the pressure of live television. You can check out some highlights below:

On WWE: Unreal:

“There’s cameras everywhere. There’s cameras around you all day long, you forget there’s cameras on you. And ‘Yeah, man, it’s live TV.’ You know who they’re going to come to at the end of the day, if the show doesn’t work, or the show doesn’t go off on time, or doesn’t work? They come to me, okay? That’s the end of the story, and I’m responsible for it. So when — in communication, sometimes things get lost in communication.”

On the Power Of Editing:

“Also, the beauty of documentaries and the beauty of editing is you can create stories. And you don’t get the whole story all the time. And anybody who knows Chris Park knows what a wonderful human being he is. He’s one of the sweetest guys on the face of the earth, extremely talented and really good at what he does, and cares. I mean, just cares. And he’s a beautiful soul, man. He really is.

“And you know, Chris takes everything to heart. If you are in a situation, man, and you’re at a point and you’re asking a question, you’re not getting an answer, or I’m not getting the answer that I need. If I ask you what time it is, and don’t want to get the history of watchmaking, I wanna know what time it is. If I ask you, ‘How much time do we have left?,’ I don’t want to hear, ‘We’re getting close.’ I just need a number. Tell me, help me.”

On It Happening Often:

“And that happens literally every week on every single show. And it was good TV, and found it — I still haven’t seen the whole [show]. I watched the entire series, but it was one of those, I had it on while I was in here working. So I haven’t sat down and just watched it.

“I did watch that particular scene, and thought it was hilarious, thought it was great. But you know, Chris is Chris, and Chris is awesome. So anybody that takes that for being a bully or anything else, you’ve never worked in live television, and you’ve never worked in real life. And if everything has to be sugar-coated for you, I feel really sorry for you. Because life’s tough. And in order to make it sometimes, man, you got to be able to take it or get out. If you can’t take it in the kitchen, get the hell out of the kitchen. And Chris can take it, and he does his job. He does a damn good job at it.”
