Bully Ray Explains Why Britt Baker Needs to be the Babyface Against Mercedes Mone

– During Busted Open Radio this week, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray explained why the returned Britt Baker needs to be the babyface against Mercedes Mone in their burgeoning feud. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Bully Ray on Baker playing the heel against Mone: “If Britt Baker thinks she is a heel, she needs a f**king lobotomy.”

On fans booing Mone at Forbidden Door: “If Tony Khan, Mercedes Mone, and Britt Baker try to fight this, they are very ignorant and foolish. Listen to the people … they were booing Mercedes Mone last night before we even see Britt Baker, so it’s not like Britt is the reason why they’re booing Mercedes. They’re booing Mercedes because the honeymoon phase is over. There’s a part of me that believes Britt Baker would rather be a heel. I hope Britt Baker after she heard that response smacks herself in the face and goes, ‘Okay, honey, you’re a babyface.'” 

At last Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event, Dr. Baker confronted Mone following Mone’s win over Stephanie Vaquer. The win made Mone a double-champion, winning the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title.
