Bully Ray Isn’t A Fan of NXT North American Championship

Bully Ray has expressed some issues with the NXT North American Championship as an example of too many titles in wrestling. Oba Femi won the North American Title on this week’s episode of NXT, and Bully spoke about the title on Busted Open Radio. You can see the highlights below, per Wrestling Inc:
On not being a fan of the NXT North American Championship: “I view NXT in a completely different way than I do the main roster. It is a dedicated developmental, so I watch it through a different set of eyes. But I’m not a fan of the North American Championship. … In professional wrestling, there are entirely too many championships.”
On what the title means to people in the industry: “It’s not about what the actual championship represents. I think it is a symbol of how high you’re moving up the card.”
