CJ Perry has made her early predictions for the WWE Royal Rumble, picking Oba Femi and Liv Morgan to win the men’s and women’s matches. The Rumble is coming up quickly, taking place on January 31st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The winners of the two matches will get a WrestleMania main event title match as is tradition, and Perry picked Femi and Morgan to win on TMZ Inside the Ring.

Femi just made a move toward the main roster, vacating the NXT Championship on this week’s WWE NXT. He is reportedly set to get a big push on the Raw roster. Meanwhile, Morgan is also on the Raw roster, having returned in November to the ring and taken her place in The Judgment Day again. You can see highlights from Perry’s comments below:

On Who Will Win the Men’s Royal Rumble:

“I could see [Gunther]. I actually think that Oba is going to [win]. Yeah, I can see it. I mean, his stats are insane. I was looking up his height yesterday? He’s 6’6′ and like, 300 pounds of solid muscle. It’s insane. Like, talk about — these are the people that I’m going to be searching for… and he’s young, and he’s jacked and he’s so athletic. I think he has a high chance of debut and win. I’m all for it. I mean, of course I want Rusev to win. But if Rusev can’t win, then Oba.”

On She Picks to Win the Women’s Rumble:

“I’m going to say Liv Morgan. I think that Liv Morgan is going to win the Royal Rumble. She is fast, she is talented. She trains, she has a professional ring in her backyard, in her barn. And also, she is very conniving and scheming. And so that’s why I think she’s so great and iconic, is because she can — did you not see what what extent and means she went to win the title back from Rhea? So she’s capable, she has all these people kind of working for her now, The Judgment Day. And so I really think if she plays her cards right, she’s more than capable of winning.”

On Morgan Winning the Title By the End of 2026:

“I absolutely see Liv Morgan as the champion by the end of the year. And I think she’s just like — you know, throughout many different years. I think, two — no, three years ago in 2023, she was the second longest person lasting in the Royal Rumble other than Rhea. And so she has the skill set. But also you have to outsmart everyone as well to win the Rumble. And I think she can outsmart everyone.

“And she just is constantly reinventing herself, constantly making herself relevant, constantly elevating her gear. I mean, she’s the first woman ever to be [in] In Style. In Style wrote about her, her gear. That’s never happened before. That’s never happened that a professional wrestler has been crossing over into fashion and fashion publications. So I think if WWE is smart, they will have Liv Morgan win.”
