CM Punk Goalie Mask on WWE SmackDown Featured Tribute to His Dog Larry

In the main event of last night’s WWE SmackDown, CM Punk successfully defended his title against former Universal Champion Kevin Owens. During his entrance, CM Punk wore an elaborate hockey goalie mask that was designed by makeup and visual effects artist Jason Baker. The mask also featured a tribute to Punk’s late dog, Larry.

Jason Baker shared details on the goalie mask via his X account (see below). He wrote, “Best in the world inspired Goalie mask for the Coach @CMPunk created by me. And yes, those are Larry the dog’s actual paw prints on the side. Jacket & gear by @byJolene.”

Larry sadly passed away last December. During the main event, Sami Zayn interfered, first attempting to assist Owens in winning the belt. However, Owens later refused Zayn’s assistance, leading to Zayn hitting Owens with the WWE Championship. After that, Punk hit Owens with the Go 2 Sleep to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Sami Zayn attacked and laid out both CM Punk and Kevin Owens with Punk’s title belt.
