The New Level are reportedly sticking with AEW for the long-term, with new details about their contracts available. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Austin Creed and Kofi have signed five-year contracts with the company.

The two noted after their debuts at AEW All In that they had signed the deal the day before All In. Fightful Select reports that the licensing for “New Level” as an entrance theme wasn’t secured until the day of the show as Sony had to be the ones clearing it. Sources noted that it is fairly common for music rights negotiations to come down the last moment in similar situations.

The outlet also notes that the creative was pitched to Creed and Kofi “well before” the deal was finalized and that their trios run with Swerve Strickland was one of the first ideas pitched. Their run was never intended to be a long-term run, but they were pitched on joining the company to work with Strickland who is said to have been a big part of the initial communication between the two sides. Tony Khan has been open about his not wanting to speak to talent before they are free agents.

The New Level and Strickland lost the AEW World Trios Championships to Hangman Page and Brodido at AEW WrestleDream.
