SANADA defeated Tama Tonga @ 10:47 via pin [*] This was largely bad, they had some fun sequences, but it was filled with too much bullshit to be anything good. I am already over all of this firing squad bullshit; I absolutely hate it in the G1.

This was a very good, back and forth, and physical match with Juice’s hand still being an ongoing issue for him and both guys looking great.

Ishii counters destino, Naito hits the rolling kick and destino for another great near fall. Naito hits destino again and finally puts Ishii away. Tetsuya Naito defeated Tomohiro Ishii @ 19:18 via pin [****¼] This was an absolutely great match, and another worthy chapter in their series of matches. It was dramatic, hard-hitting, played off of their previous matches very well and they smartly held off on the near falls until late in the match, and by that time, they had the crowd locked in and reacting huge to all of the near fall. In many ways, they worked a less is more formula, and when they did the big spots, it only added to the drama and pulled in the fans even more. These two are great, and always deliver. It was no different here.

V trigger, one winged angel an Goto is done. Kenny Omega defeated Hirooki Goto @ 19:25 via pin [****] This was great, Omega & Goto always work well together, and this was tremendously fun, and they evens old the crowd on Goto pulling off the win. It may not seem important now, but with the win, Omega lays claim to a NEVER title shot (a title he’s never won) down the line
