Juice Robinson & Sami Callihan vs. Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens: Sami and Owens to begin. Owens tells Sami to suck it, but Sami was disinclined to acquiesce to his request and attacks. Sami takes control, tagging in Juice and double teams follow. Juice also refuses to suck it, so Owens beats him down with jabs for a bit, Juice fires back, but Owens lays in chops. Juice fires back again, Sami in as they look to work a series of double teams, Fale is in to cut that off. He takes Sami to the floor for some brawling, as Owens takes control over Juice. Fale tags in and slowly beats on Juice, and sits on him, which is good for a cover and 2. Owens back in, and he maintains the heat on Juice. Juice picks up the pace, but his come back is cut off a he’s sent to the floor. Back in and Owens hits a side back breaker, but Sami makes the save. Fale in and misses a corner splash, allowing Juice to send Owens to the floor. He fights off Fale but Owens takes out Sami, stopping the hot tag. Juice manages a dropkick, fights off Owens and finally gets the tag. Sami in and Owens accidentally superkicks Fale, allowing Sami to make the comeback. Sami lays out Owens with a big right, covering for 2. Juice is back in and they work double teams on Owens. The assisted cannonball follows and Sami hits a sitout powerbomb for 2. Juice tries to fight off Fale, fails but he and Sami send him to the floor. Juice misses a plancha, leaving Sami alone in the ring. Owens quickly rolls him up and pulls the tights/pants for the win. Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens defeated Juice Robinson & Sami Callihan @ 9:10 via pin [**] This was an OK match, but not much to it and it felt really slow and uninspired. Far from the worst of the A block, but nothing you need to see.

Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima vs. EVIL & SANADA: LIJ attacks Kojima at the bell, but he fights them off and the dads work double teams, working over EVIL. Tenzan in and he take control until SANADA cuts him off, allowing EVIL to work over Kojima as SANADA and Tenzan brawl to the floor. EVIL and Kojima follow and now everyone brawls on the floor. Back in and EVIL continues to work over Tenzan as SANADA helps out. SANADA tags in, and grounds things, working a chinlock. Tenzan tries to fight back, but SANADA take s out the knees with a dropkick. LIJ double teams Tenzan, with EVIL hitting a senton for 2. EVIL and Tenzan trade strikes and Tenzan hits a spin kick and tags in Kojima. He lays in machinegun chops to both, hits the corner elbow and as he looks to head up top, SANADA cuts him off. EVIL accidentally hits SANADA allowing Kojima to hit a cutter and he takes EVIL up top and hits a cutter off the ropes for 2. EVIL cuts off the lariat and follows with a superkick, SANADA back in and ties Kojima up in the paradise lock. The dropkick to the ass follows for 2. Kojima fights off the TKO, and the skull end to hit a suplex. Tenzan gets the tag and runs wild, sending EVIL to the floor. Mongolian chops follow, and then a suplex for 2. SANADA cuts off Tenzan, they trade strikes and SANADA then hits the dropkick. Tenzan manages to hit a mountain bomb and it breaks down. Tenzan locks on the anaconda vice, but EVIL makes the save after dispatching Kojima. They brawl to the floor, and then SANADA eats a Tenkoji cutter for the near fall. The ref gets taken out and EVIL evens the odds with chair shots. Tenzan cuts him off, hits a Saito suplex on SANADA but he kicks out at 2. The slam follows and Tenzan heads up top for the moonsault, but EVIL cuts him off. SANADA powerbombs him off the ropes and that gets 2. Skull end follows and EVIL returns for the magic killer to finish Tenzan. EVIL & SANADA defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima @ 11:45 via pin [**¾] The win puts LIJ on top of the block for now. This was a pretty good overall match, which picked up down the stretch and ended up being fun.

The final score: review Average
The 411
The big news is SANADA and EVIL picking up the big win and taking the lead over the A block, while the logjam follows behind them as almost everyone is still trying to make it to the finals of the block. This was an overall average outing, which if you’ve been following, is a big improvement for the A block…
