Togi Makabe & Henare vs. David Finlay & Katsuya Kitamura: Somebody’s 0 must go! Henare and Kitamura start things off, trading strikes and yelling at each other. Finlay in and dropkicks Henare and then knocks Makabe to the floor. Kitamura takes over, suplexing Henare for 2. Kitamura takes him to the corner, lays the boots to him and Finlay tags in and works uppercuts. Finlay makes sure to keep Makabe on the floor, allowing he and Kitamura to work some double teams and pick up another near fall. Kitamura lays in nasty chops on Henare, and then works a modified camel clutch. Finlay back in, hits a suplex and covers for 2. Finlay sets Henare up top, follows and they trade strikes. Henare knocks Finlay to the mat and hits the big shoulder block. Makabe gets the tag and runs wild, knocking Kitamura to the floor and laying in rights on Finlay. He then kills him with a lariat for 2. Finlay fights back, hitting the uppercut off the ropes and tags in Kitamura. He spears Makabe, covering for 2. Henare makes the save as Kitamura was looking for the jackhammer, but Finlay tosses him. Makabe fights back with clotheslines, Henare back in and hits the Samoan drop and Makabe hits the king kong knee drop for the win on Kitamura. Togi Makabe & Henare defeated David Finlay & Katsuya Kitamura @ 6:40 via pin [**½] This was shirt, but a pretty good match with the lions working really hard and providing some great aggression; Makabe gets the thanks for coming win.

Trent & Chuckie T vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr & Lance Archer: Trent and Archer to begin. Archer works the power game early, Trent tries to use his speed and then fires away with chops and gets tossed to the floor. Archer then takes out Chuckie T and everyone spills to the floor for some Gedo mandated floor brawling. Back in and Archer continues to work over Trent, Smith tags in and lays in strikes, continuing to isolate Trent. Archer joins in from the floor and they just pummel Trent. Smith hits a big slam and then grounds things with a chinlock. Trent starts to fight back, working to his feet and laying in chops. Smith hits a powerslam to cut him off, covering for 2. Archer back in and he lays in chops, but misses a charge and Trent fights off Smith but Archer takes out Chuckie T to stop the tag. Trent counters blackout, and hits a tornado DDT. Chuckie T gets the tag and runs wild on Smith, hitting strikes and a missile dropkick. The tope follows, wiping out KES. Trent looks for s suicide dive, gets caught and Archer hits an apron chokeslam. KES hits the hart attack on Chuckie T back in the ring for a good near fall. They continue to double team Chuckie T, the chokeslam and sitout powerbomb follow but Trent returns to make the save on a good near fall. Trent fights off the killer bomb, DUDEBUSTER on Smith! Chuckie T crawls over and covers for 2. Smith battles back hitting a Saito suplex, and Archer tags in. he press slams Trent to the floor, beats down Chuckie T in the corner but Chuckie T fights back and hits the stuff piledriver for 2. Chuckie T heads up top, and misses the moonsault. Archer beats him down, takes him up top and hits blackout and covers for 2, but Chuckie T turns it into a cradle for 2. Smith back in, killer bomb, KES wins. KES defeated Best Friends @ 11:41 via pin [***½] This was a very good match, with a well done homestretch that made me believe that the Best Friends (the loss knocks them out) were going to score the huge upset. So close; Dustin & Greg forever!

Michael Elgin & Jeff Cobb vs. Hanson & Rowe: Cobb and Rowe to begin, they go power for power until Cobb picks up the pace, leading to a stalemate. Hanson and Elgin tag in. They talk shit, push and shove and thy start colliding like rams center ring. They trade strikes now, Elgin lays in forearms and they now battle over a suplex. Hanson takes Elgin down, and slams Cobb onto him and then Rowe slams Hanson onto them. Elgin trips up Hanson and posts his knee, and hen takes out Rowe. Cobb tags back in and they work double teams, isolating Hanson and picking up a near fall. Elgin and Cobb work quick tags, continuing the heat on Hanson. Elgin hits a dropkick, and Cobb hits a running powerslam for 2. Hanson tries to rally, knocks Elgin to the floor and takes Cobb down. Wholesale changes to Elgin and Rowe, they trade strikes and Rowe takes control with rolling forearms. The uranage follows and Rowe covers for 2. Elgin hits a powerslam and Cobb takes out Hanson. They double-team Rowe, Hanson rushes in to make the save and runs wild with strikes. Hanson looks for forever clotheslines, but gets cut off and suplexed by Cobb. They target Rowe now, but he starts fighting back with head butts, but gets cut off with a forearm and Angle slam; Elgin turns him inside out with a lariat for 2. It breaks down with everyone in, War Machine makes the comeback and hits a modified doomsday device for 2. The pop up powerslam connects on Cobb, but Elgin cuts off the Hanson dive. Elgin takes Rowe up top and hits a superplex as Cobb hits the standing moonsault for 2. Rowe rallies, takes out Elgin and Hanson follows with a suicide dive onto him. Cobb suplexes Rowe, misses the standing shooting star press, and Rowe hits the knee strike on Cobb; fallout puts him away. War Machine defeated Cobb & Elgin @ 13:15 via pin [***] Cobb & Elgin are now out of the running. This was another good match, but it didn’t have the tease of Cobb & Elgin winning; the previous match made me believe The best Fiends could win and had more drama.

So I believe that one of two things could happen, the Guerrillas win and go to the finals, or we get a War Machine, KES, Yano/Ishii three-way tie; it looks something like this…

Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano vs. Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa: So one of two things could happen, the Guerrillas win and go to he finals, or we get a War Machine, KES, Yano. Ishii three way tie. Ishii and Loa start things off, they go power for power, colliding like rams and Loa finally takes Ishii down. Ishii quickly battles back, they trade crazy fists and then Tonga tags in. Yano tags in as well. Tonga does hi scrawl around gimmick and Yano runs, looks for a rope break but Tonga beats on him. They spill to the floor for some brawling, Tonga posts Yano and then back in the ring, the Guerrillas work double teams, isolating Yano. Yano fights off Loa and gets the hot tag to Ishii, who runs wild with ass kicking lariats on both. Ishii hits a German but Loa powers up and hits a slam, but Ishii says fuck your slam, here’s a suplex bitch. Tag to Yano, Tonga in as well and they trade strikes. Yano rips off the buckle pad, and Tonga hits the exposed buckle. Tonga does his misdirection spot, takes Yano down, but Ishii returns and they work double teams. Tonga is sent to the exposed buckle, and Yano rolls him up for 2. Loa back in and takes out Yano and Ishii with clotheslines. They double-team Yano until Ishii makes the save. More double teams follow for a good near fall. It breaks down, Yano hits a low blow, Ishii follows with a lariat for 2 on Tonga. Tonga blocks the low blow on Loa, hits the gun stun and hits Guerrilla warfare on both Ishii and then Yano for the definitive win. The Guerrillas of Destiny defeated Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano @ 11:40 via pin [***] This was a good main event, Ishii was his usual ass kicking self and they did a nice job of mixing in Yano’s shenanigans down the stretch for some good nearfalls.
