Former AEW World Champion Darby Allin is set for a stipulation match at an indie event next month.
Earlier today, indie promotion One Fall Wrestling [1FW] announced via social media that Allin would lock horns with his protege Kiran Grey in a No DQ match at its Summer Stage 2 event in Atlanta on Friday, July 17.
As noted previously, Allin showed up in 1FW last month, laying out Grey after the latter threatened to beat down anyone to walk through that curtain.
Here’s what IFW wrote on Instagram:
“Darby Allin will be live at Summer Stage 2! One of professional wrestling’s most fearless competitors is coming to Center Stage as Darby Allin steps into a No DQ Match against the dangerous Kiran Grey! With no disqualifications and no limits, anything can happen when these two rivals collide. Expect hard-hitting action, jaw-dropping moments, and a battle that could steal the entire show! Don’t miss your chance to see Darby Allin LIVE and in person at 1FW Summer Stage 2, presented by Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home!”

Darby Allin has been away from in-ring competition since losing the Title vs. Hair match to MJF at last month’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. He had a 39-day reign as AEW World Champion, during which he notched up successful defenses against Tommaso Ciampa, Brody King, Kevin Knight, PAC, Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
