NJPW News: David Finlay Injured And Out Of New Japan Cup, Tickets For Opening Day G1 Climax On Sale
– NJPW has announced that David Finlay has been removed from the New Japan Cup due to a left shoulder injury, but a replacement has not been announced yet. He was scheduled to face Hiroyoshi Tenzan in the first round on March 10. The injury happened at an Honor Rising event on February 23. Finlay attempted an uppercut off the top rope during a match with the Briscoes at the time. He tweeted that he dislocated his shoulder and would get it looked at. It’s unknown when he’ll be back.
– Tickets for the Opening Day G1 Climax event in Dallas, Texas on July 6 go on sale on March 13 at 12 PM CT. PRices range from $50 to $300. The event takes place at the American Airlines Center. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the American Airlines Center box office.
