As previously reported, Ring of Honor (ROH) held a set of TV tapings last night in New York City. You can check out the updated, more detailed set of TV taping spoilers below, courtesy of Zach Levine and PWInsider.

ROH had a long but action packed night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC last night, taping four nights of TV leading up to Best in the World in Baltimore at the end of the month.

ROH Champion Dalton Castle and the Boys began the night. Dalton def seems to be hurting, but cut a decent promo on Cody and Marty for the triple threat at the PPV. Taven interrupts, saying he never got his chance at the title and then was the unclaimed champ. The Kingdom then ran out through the crowd and beat down the boys. Marseglia released his red balloons which floated to the top of the ballroom and are now part of the ceiling for the foreseeable future. Castle used the boys as projectiles to throw at the Kingdom members until they left.

Kenny King and Jon Gresham had a fantastic opening match.

Josh Woods and Facade followed with an alright match, Facade looked real good. More of an angle with Shane Taylor.

WOH tag match was good. Sumie Sakai looked good. The singles later on the card was pretty good too, impressed by the Gatekeeper Kelly Klein.

Bully Ray and Cheeseburger was wayyyy better than I expected. Bully had the crowd eating out of his palm. He surprised Burger at the opener and laid Twinkies with a chain during the match. Cabana took down Bully with a great mid-match spear and he and Burger nailed Bully with a WASSUP using a cheese grater. Bully won in the end, hope to see Bully-Cabana at the PPV.

The five three-team gauntlet match was solid. Alex Shelley-Jonathan Gresham-LSG were great til Shelley seemed to bust his teeth during the match with So Cal Uncensored. Shelley-Gresham-LSG beat The Dawgs and Shane Taylor, and then beat Silas and The Bouncers. Gresham and Silas might have done about twenty go-behinds in one spot. Gresham came out of this night looking like a star. SCU beat them, but then lost to King, Chuckie T and Eli Isom. They now face The Kingdom for the 6 Man Belts at Best in the World.

An online exclusive match was held after featuring Afa Jr, the former Manu. He looked good in a quick bout. Funny that we got 2/5 of Legacy members at this show tonight.

Matt Taven vs. Ultimo Guerrero was excellent. I’m so impressed with Tavens progression, has star quality. Really fun bout with TK O’Ryan providing distraction throughout. Marseglia came out from under the ring with more red balloons to add to the ceiling, and popped one right next to Guerrero’s head. Taven beat him, but Guerrero said he would come back with friends next time.

Cody vs. Titan was excellent as well. This was a TV main event. Cody got a monster Ovation and shower of streamers. He told us All In 2 was decided this morning and would be held in NYC. The crowd lost their minds til Cody said he’s kidding and would never do that. He told us we were like Flip and All Out. Great match with Cody winning after unmasking Titan and rolling him up.

Jay Lethal and Chuckie T were next and put on a great bout as well. Chuck, Gresham and King all wrestled twice last night and looked great in doing so. Lethal won after reversing the Awful Waffle.

Briscoes & Punishment Martinez vs. Young Bucks & Adam Page ended the night. This was a TV main event. Shower of streamers for the Hung Bucks. Great match with lots of table spots, superkicks and moonsaults. Bucks win and cut a promo on the Briscoes who they face at the next PPV. Cody came out to support them at the end and they all thanked us for being loud for four plus hours of ROH action.

At the end, The Bucks and Cody noted there was a building a few blocks away that could possibly host All In 2 (insinuating Madison Square Garden) and the crowd lost their minds. Matt Jackson told us they’ll mull that over and for us to have a good night.
