Dixie Carter Reportedly Turned Down Dark Side Of The Ring TNA Episode Appearance

Dixie Carter will reportedly not be part of Dark Side of the Ring three-parter on TNA, as she is said to have turned down an appearance. As previously reported, the Vice TV series will return for its seventh season on July 7th at 9 PM ET and will kick off with a three-part arc looking at Jeff Jarrett and TNA Impact.

According to PWInsider (per Fightful), Carter was invited multiple times to appear for the TNA episodes but turned them all down. No word on Carter’s reasons for turning down the appearance.

Carter was the president of TNA/Impact Wrestling from 2002 until 2017 and her family’s company, Panda Energy, owned the company during that time. She often appeared on TNA Impact in an on-screen role. She made an appearance on TNA Impact’s AMC premire in January 15th but has not been directly involved in the wrestling business since TNA was sold.

The episode has been confirmed to feature appearances by Jarrett, Vince Russo, Jim Cornette, and The Hardys. The full list of announced topics for the season are:
