Dark Side of the Ring Season Seven Launching In July, Will Cover TNA & More

Dark Side of the Ring returns for its seventh season this summer with a multi-part TNA episode among its subjects this time around. Variety reports that the new season will premiere on July 7th at 9 PM ET on Vice TV. The new season will launch with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly after that.

The first topic will run three episodes and explore TNA’s early years, paired with Jeff Jarrett’s personal story. The full list of announced topics for this season are as follows:

* TNA Wrestling & Jeff Jarrett (Three Episodes)
* Paul Orndorff
* Big Boss Man
* Missy Hyatt
* Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher from IWA-MS in 2005
* Zach Gowen
* The Renegade, aka Rick Wilson

“Each season, we try to challenge ourselves to go deeper, and season seven is our most ambitious yet,” said the show’s co-creators, Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, in a statement. “That’s especially true with our three-part exploration of TNA Wrestling, where Jeff Jarrett’s journey of redemption and resilience gives us a unique lens into the highs, struggles, and lasting impact of the foundational years of the company. It’s a perfect example of how compelling and ultimately human these stories really are.”

Dark Side of the Ring premiered in 2019 and has become a flagship show for Vice TV, launching a whole franchise of Dark Side spinoffs such as Dark Side of Football, Dark Side of the 90s, and Dark Side of Comedy.

Season six of the series premiered in March of 2025 and included episodes on Mick Foley’s Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker, Billy Jack Haynes, Daffney, The Sheik, and Muhammad Hassan.
