Former AEW Continental Champion Eddie Kingston is in the final stages of his career on the independent circuit.
On Threads, Kingston revealed that he will be taking up one independent booking a month moving forward and will wind up his career in the indie circuit in November 2026.
Here’s what Eddie Kingston wrote:
“So this is my last indy run. Doing Beyond and a show in Jersey this weekend. After that, I am taking only one show a month. By next November, I am done with the indies, and yeah, nothing more to it. As of now, I have December and March, April, [and] May.”

Kingston returned to in-ring action at All Out 2025 following an extended hiatus due to a torn ACL, meniscus, and fractured tibia he suffered during a No Rope Last Man Standing Match against Gabe Kidd in May 2024.
The Mad King had a successful return to the squared circle, as he defeated Big Bill in a singles match at All Out: Toronto. Since then, Eddie Kingston has featured fairly regularly on AEW television, especially on Collision. His most recent match took place on the November 5 episode of Dynamite, where he joined forces with “Hangman” Adam Page and HOOK to unsuccessfully challenge The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) for the AEW World Trios Championship.
Kingston is set to appear at Beyond Wrestling’s Novembercanrana event in Cranston, Rhode Island, on November 14.
