El Grande Americano II Wins AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 Tournament

El Grande Americano II is the winner of the 2026 Rey de Reyes tournament. He secured the prestigious belt by pinning Santos Escobar in a Fatal Four-Way Match, also featuring the OG El Grande Americano and La Parka.

Both Americanos were at each other’s throats throughout the match. At one point, they both loaded up their masks, only to headbutt each other.

They eventually started brawling in the crowd, leaving Escobar and La Parka to battle it out inside the ring. Escobar grabbed a chair, but La Parka dodged it and took him out with a Spinning Suplex for a near fall. However, his attempt to hit a Moonsault from the second rope went in vain as Escobar moved away. He then hit La Parka with a facebuster on the steel chair.

El Grand Americano II eventually returned to ringside and then pointed toward the balcony where Los Americanos had the OG Grande firmly in their control. The duo handcuffed him to the railing.

El Grande Americano II returned to the ring and went right after Escobar. He went for a headbutt, but Santos escaped, and the former hit the turnbuckle. Escobar tried to grab the chair, but an unknown masked man suddenly showed up and grabbed the chair away and blasted the Mexican wrestler with it.

This allowed El Grande Americano II to first headbutt La Parka and then Santos Escobar to secure the pinfall victory, the prestigious AAA Rey de Reyes sword, and a future shot at the Mega Championship. He will be presented with the sword by Penta next Saturday.
