El Hijo del Vikingo Wins AAA TripleMania XXXIII Main Event After AJ Styles Attacks Dominik Mysterio

El Hijo del Vikingo defeated El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, and Dominik Mysterio to retain the AAA Mega Championship in the main event of AAA TripleMania XXXIII on Saturday night. Vikingo was booed during his entrance and during the match. Rey Mysterio and King Vikingo both were on hand to give support to Vikingo.
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh got involved in the match and tried to Help Dominik only to be countered by LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. A masked individual who was revealed to be AJ Styles saved Dragon Lee from being pinned by Dominik Mysterio after Mysterio used a steel plate under his mask to headbutt Lee. Styles then gave Mysterio a Styles Clash, leading to Vikingo pinning him and scoring the win.
