Former World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk brought back his iconic old theme “Miseria Cantaré” for his special entrance at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.
However, ESPN has replaced it with generic stock music in replays of The Show of Shows on its Unlimited platform.
Punk’s iconic entrance at ‘Mania 42 started with a pre-emptive video of him sitting on top of Allegiant Stadium and a recap of some of the greatest moments of his pro wrestling career. It was followed by Punk walking out to no music before his current theme, Cult of Personality, started playing.
Fans recently noticed that ESPN Unlimited has replaced AFI’s licensed music, i.e., “Miseria Cantaré,” with generic music in the replay. You can check it out below:

That said, the song continues to feature on WWE’s social media posts and on Netflix replay for international viewers.
CM Punk failed to retain the World Heavyweight Title at ‘Mania 42, losing to Roman Reigns in an instant classic.
