Indi Hartwell retained the NXT women’s title on Tuesday’s Spring Breakin’ episode, but an injury almost changed the finish. Tiffany Stratton hit a moonsault to the outside onto Hartwell and Roxanne Perez, which caused Indi’s ankle to buckle.
F4WOnline reports that Indi’s ankle injury was legitimate and when she was taken backstage, there was an audible to give Stratton the win and title. However, Hartwell was able to return to the ring and finish the match, so it was changed back to the original ending.
Meanwhile, the match between Grayson Waller and Carmelo Hayes was cut short due to Waller getting hurt. He was caught in the ropes while attempting his rolling cutter.
