Former TNA Stars Backstage at GFW Impact Taping (SPOILERS)

– Two former TNA stars are backstage at Thursday night’s GFW Impact taping, with one of them confirmed to return on air. Wrestling Inc reports that Petey Williams is set to return at the taping tonight. This would make his first appearance for the company since April of 2014. He retired from the ring a few months later in July.

Also backstage per the site is Jim Cornette. At this time, it isn’t confirmed whether he will be appearing on camera, although a report earlier today suggested the company wanted to bring him back. Cornette has not worked for GFW/TNA since 2009, when he was released because of differences with his longtime rival Vince Russo who headed TNA’s creative at the time.
