Freddie Prinze Jr. Praises Chelsea Green for Making the Most of Her Screen Time in WWE

– During a recent edition of Wrestling With Freddie, actor and former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. discussed the great work Chelsea Green has been doing in WWE, and how she’s able to do a lot with what little she’s given. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Freddie Prinze Jr. on Chelsea Green and Piper Niven’s segments: “They do give Chelsea and Piper backstage segments so they at least try to give them opportunities to get over in that regard, and then a small quick match that usually doesn’t mean much. Chelsea’s making the most of it.”

On Green’s character being tough to pull off: “It’s a tough character to get over, man, because it’s way ’80s character-driven. So, it’s tough to pull off in a reality-based format, but you know, she’s doing her thing.”

Green and Niven are scheduled to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles next week on Raw against Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. The show is being held at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. It will be broadcast live on USA Network.
