FTR Have Face-To-Face With Christian Cage & Cope In AEW September To Remember Segment

FTR and Christian Cage & Cope traded words (and more) ahead of their All Out match at AEW September To Remember. Wednesday’s three-hour show saw the two tag teams appear in the ring for a face-fo-face, in which they traded shots back and forth before things got physical.

The segment saw FTR claim that Cope tried to take their spotlight running down the many big matches they’ve had in their career including against the likes of DIY, Enzo and Big Bill, the Young Bucks, the Briscoes and more. Cope countered that he and Cage were one of the graetest tag teams long before FTR even got started and “turned a match into a PPV” meaning TLC.

The segment turned physical when Cage nailed Dax Harwood with the microphone, which led to Harwood being busted open. Security got involved and FTR hit them with a Shatter Machine as Cope hit a spear and Christian nailed the killswitch to other security. FTR was run out of the ring by Cope and Cage in the end.
