Goldberg Apologizes for Rib Injury to Charles Robinson, Calls Him ‘Indestructible’

– As previously reported, veteran WWE and WCW referee Charles Robinson was at the receiving end of a spear from Goldberg last weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Robinson suffered a rib injury during the Spear, which Goldberg commented on while speaking to The Ariel Helwani Show earlier this week.

Goldberg stated on Charles Robinson (via Fightful), “Here’s the deal. I asked for Charles to be there. Charles and I have a long history. Charles has taken that before and I might have broken a rib last time.” He continued on the veteran referee, “Charles is indestructible. I don’t know how old he is, but he’s taken the spear a number of times. A lot of times, actually. More power to him. I love him to death. I do apologize for the rib. It’ll heal, like the other ones.”

Goldberg lost his retirement match against Gunther at last weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
