Harley Cameron Credits Willow Nightingale For Her Success in Wrestling

Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale have made for a successful tag team in AEW. The Babes of Wrath retained the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship at Grand Slam: Australia, which allowed Harley the chance to compete in front of her countrymen & women.

Harley Cameron has received rave reviews for her improvement since starting in AEW as an in-ring competitor. During an interview with Wrestle Radio Australia, she was sure to credit her tag team partner for most of her success.

Harley Cameron on Going From Singles To Tag Team Wrestling & Crediting Willow for Her Development:

“So I’ve been I think safe to say learning in a respect to wrestle on TV which has been a very you know exciting, pressure filled but amazing journey. I feel that I was finding my feet when I had my first opportunity when I came down here last time to wrestle Mercedes Mone for the TBS title. That in itself was an amazing moment and I really felt like I was getting in the groove of you know being a singles performer and being put into the deep end at All Elite Wrestling when I was just so new to the world of wrestling. Then this year to me has just been I feel transformational because I’ve been able to work alongside Willow. And in tag team wrestling, which is just a completely different ball game. I love it. There is so much creativity involved in it and…it’s unique.

I think being paired up with someone who is so talented and vibrant and amazing and you know I consider you a ring general really. It’s been so important to my development because I feel that you know as you can see returning now with the belts, we are the champions, I think is a huge testament to the growth that I’ve experienced this year. Um, also in tag wrestling and also I credit a lot of that to Willow because you are a big part of the reason why I’m here today. You’re my girl.”

Willow Nightingale on Harley’s Work Ethic:

“She is such a go-getter. If she wants something, she’s out there. She’s working for it. She is making sure that like all her eyes are dotted, all her tees are crossed, and she’s, you know, she’s gotten where she has, where we are for a reason. And I genuinely like wholeheartedly believe that and mean it.”
