Ilja Dragunov Says Brock Lesnar Moment Is His Royal Rumble Highlight

Ilja Dragunov made his debut this past Saturday, entering the ring seventeenth. He would be eliminated rather handily by Brock Lesnar, as Brock fired up from Ilja’s chops in the corner and tossed him over the top rope like yesterday’s garbage. Some fans expressed their disappointment over Ilja getting trucked by a larger man, but Dragunov had a different feeling about the matter.

Ilja Dragunov posted a picture on his Instagram Stories of Brock firing up while getting chopped, and declared it his highlight of the 2026 Royal Rumble. One can assume that Dragunov is familiar with Lesnar’s work from back in the day.

Dragunov lasted just over ten minutes in the Rumble match, not scoring any eliminations.
