Jade Cargill Retains Women’s Title Against Jordynne Grace On WWE Smackdown

Jade Cargill has made her first defense of the WWE Women’s Championship, defeating Jordynne Grace on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. Friday night’s show saw Grace challenge Cargill for the Women’s Championship. The two women went back and forth, with Grace relying on her power offense to try and get the win.

Cargill countered with her own power offense and survived a powerslam late in the match. The two began trading strikes before grace hit a back elbow. Cargill came back with a pump kick and then hit her Jaded finisher for the win.

The match was watched at ringside by Liv Morgan, who came out with Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez. Morgan and Mysterio had a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner of chicken nuggets and Dirty Dom wine as they watched the match. Morgan is still deciding who she will challenge at WrestleMania as a result of her women’s Royal Rumble victory. She and Cargill stared off after the match ended.

The victory marks Cargill’s first defense of the WWE Women’s Championship. Her title reign stands at 105 days. She won the title from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st, 2025.
