– In his latest Reffin’ Rant, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas praised the women’s tag team Street Fight on last week’s AEW Rampage as “incredible,” but he took issue with the match being booked on Rampage as opposed to Dynamite or a pay-per-view event. He stated the following:
“Normally on Tuesday, I’d be talking about something from Raw, and we’ll get to that tomorrow, but something happened on Friday’s Rampage that got the world talking in a big conversation about. The women’s tag street fight was incredible. The women worked their butts off. They really left it all out there, especially Ruby Soho, who was bleeding a lot. I know a lot of people had an issue with a woman bleeding. I don’t have an issue with her bleeding. There was a lot of blood, maybe could have been sold a little differently, you can nitpick about little things like that. But for me, the issue was the timing of it. Putting it on Rampage on a Friday night with that small of an audience? That match deserved to be if not on pay-per-view on a Wednesday night and made a big deal about where more people could see it. Fewer people saw it is my issue.”
In the main event on AEW Rampage, Ruby Soho and Willo Nightingale beat Anna Jay and Tay Melo.
