Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

NXT Universe! It’s Tuesday, which could only mean one thing, and that is a brand-new edition of the Tuesday Night Delight, taking place from the Mother Base! Although, as the story goes, the WWE’s third brand will be hitting the road (Jack) by the end of the month and through the month of March, which the show being on the road always adds a little bit more flavor to the proceedings.

Tonight, will separate the contenders from the pretenders, starting with a #1 contenders match for a shot at the WWE Men’s Speed Title, pitting Elio LaFleur against Eli Knight. And in a match that will showcase the depth of the men’s tag team division, we will get a new challenger for the DarkState, when The Culling, the Vanity Project, OTM, and Hank and Tank face-off.

In terms of titles being on the line, the NXT Men’s North American Title will be on the line, as Ethan Page will look to extend his record title reign against Shiloh Hill. And in non-title affairs and bordering on the grudge match side, Kelani Jordan will face Lola Vice, and Tony D’Angelo will face Cutler James of the DarkState. All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!

So, how is everyone doing tonight? The Olympics are winding down, pitchers and catchers have arrived in Florida, and the NHL and NBA seasons are closing in on their completion. Oh, and March Madness will make us mad as always lol.

But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to chant the letters of N-X-T!

NXT

Tonight, NXT is LIVE from Orlando, Florida AKA the Mother Base! Vic Joseph and Booker T will be our source of commentary but also comedy, as per usual!

THEN!

NOW!

FOREVER!

TOGETHER!

We’re starting off hot tonight (no pun intended in the slightest!)

Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan

Lola is like F this I’m not waiting and she attacks Kelani on the ramp! She beats up on Jordan and throws her into the ring. Kelani tries to crawl away as the ref rings the bell. Vice deals body shots with the left hand, but Jordan pushes her away. Short arm clothesline turns things around for Kelani.

Scoop slam and Jordan targets the bad right hand of Lola. Hand abuse continues, as the fans are behind Lola. Vice reverses with an arm bar and she does a reverse Devil’s Kiss. Vice for the cover and she gets a two, so she throws on the arm bar again. Jordan shifts and gets a pin for a two.

Vice with a follow-up kick and she shakes that thing! She does it again and talks some smack. But on the third attempt, Jordan blocks it and hammerlocks Vice to the corner. Release Fisherwoman’s suplex from Jordan follows. Jordan misses her follow-up knee strike, but Vice with a pump kick.

Knees from Vice and an arm drag. She strikes Jordan with the bad hand and regrets it immediately. Jordan ends up on the floor, as she traps Vice in the ring skirt. She throws Vice into the ring steps and then hits a running knee strike on Vice into the steps. Jordan chokes Vice with her boot and removes her hand protector as we head out for break.

Both ladies trade during the break, until Jordan exposes the steel on the bottom turnbuckle truss and she wraps the bad hand of Lola around it. Vice back to her feet, but Jordan puts an end to that. Jordan jumps from the corner, but she jumps into a sleeper from Vice! Jordan escapes into a pin for a two.

Jordan runs in but eats a drop toehold into the bottom rope for her trouble. Both ladies are back on their feet, as Vice ducks and deals. Punches and kicks galore! Vice takes too long as Jordan tries to catch her, but she eats a German for her trouble. Vice tries one more time and hits a hip attack and proceeds to smack her butt in Jordan’s face some more. Booker T is obviously losing his mind lol.

After all of that, Vice gets a two on Jordan. Vice counters Jordan for another two. Jordan heads to the outside, but Vice attacks her on the floor. She dances, but her back fist hits the wall instead. Jordan throws her into the ring and heads to the top. Jordan with the 450, but Vice catches her in a choke hold! Jordan fights her way out into her own submission to the bad hand of Vice. Lola taps out!
WINNER: Kelani Jordan
TIME: 11:40
THOUGHTS: Call it a grudge match (and it most certainly was) but these two ladies have developed a lot of chemistry between them. Vice took this as far as she could, but in the end, her bad hand wouldn’t allow her to win, and Jordan should move on to bigger and better things from here.
RATING: ***3/4

Tony D’Angelo is walking outside. When DarkState arrived, they targeted him and his family. And he isn’t surprised that Cutler stepped up. He may have been a great amateur wrestler, but he doesn’t care. You took everything from him, and now, he takes everything from you.

DarkState laugh at this in the back, saying he needs to shut his goofy ass up! They hype each other up and leave.

Pretty Ricky Saints is walking, but Joe Hendry ambushes him! Security is here to break it up before it gets out of hand.

COMMERCIALS!

Bored crowd shots are the best lol.

Shiloh Hill is in his own world with his mask on as Sarah Schreiber wants to know how he will handle Ethan Page tonight. Hill says that he has watched every Page match and there is one consistent. Hank and Tank are here, and they say that constant is Hill winning the North American Title! Hill proceeds to confuse Hank and Tank, and they say he is crazy, but in a good way.

SAY HIS NAME AND HE APPEARS, I BELIEVE IN JOE HENDRY! But Joe is no mood to do the dance or the hand waiving! It’s time to kick Ricky’s ass so leave the security backstage and get out here!

Ricky wants to know why he is so mad. He says this is your champion, he attacked Ricky last week for no reason! You stole the title from me, and all you are worried about is your song and your dance. We have a Meme holding the title when it used to be held by a WWE Superstar in Ricky! These fans are losers and posers just like Hendry!

Joe says the difference between them is that he deals in fact, and the fact is that he is NXT Champion. And last time he checked, that makes him the best in NXT.

Ricky says you are the best at marketing. You have everyone out here singing your song and waiving their hands. You are nothing but a merchandise pulls, hell, you even have a 2K6 download package, nice! You come out in pants and a blazer and give fake and false answers. Ricky has worked too hard to elevate NXT and he’ll he damned if he lets Hendry ruin it.

Hendry says if you are half as good as you say you are, then you should have no problem coming down here and proving it, instead of standing up there and whining like a bitch.

Ricky says since you love marketing so much, then on Saturday, March 7th at Vengeance Day, they can do this for the NXT Title.

Hendry says that works for him, because he needs Ricky to hear this: he has no problem kicking his punk ass!

We get the graphic for the James-D’Angelo match and no comments from Vic or Booker and an abrupt cutaway!

COMMERCIALS!

NXT Roadblock is returning MSG in March; tickets are on sale now!

Izzi Dame is seen watching Tatum’s segment from last week. Spears and Nico are here, and Shawn wants to know what his champion is up to. She says she is laughing at Tatum and what she said last week. She says it will end with her retaining her title. Spears says they will also be the #1 contenders for the tag team titles, and Izzi says it just is what it is!

DarkState are here…yay.

Tony D’Angelo vs. Cutler James

The bell rings, as Tony hits an Exploder straight away. He hammers James in the corner for a bit before Cutler turns the tables and drops Tony on the top rope. Corner headbutts from James as the hot ref backs him away. That allows Tony to hit a German! A second one follows! Here comes a third one! James with a knee, but D’Angelo with a SPEAR! The Spinebuster and… that’s it?
WINNER: Tony D’Angelo
TIME: 1:15
THOUGHTS: Obviously more story line than action, but I’m surprised that James got jobbed out in less than 90 seconds.
RATING: N/R

Post-match, DarkState attack Tony, but he turns the tables. He tries to break the ankle of Dion Lennox with the ring steps, but James pulls him to safety.

Ethan Page and The Vanity Project are in the back. They gas each other up, and Myles Borne is here. Page tells him that he heard what Stone told him, and he’ll listen to him but not Ethan. He reiterates there is no way that he will get a shot at his North American Title. Borne says we will see about that as he leaves the room. Ricky Saints walks in and says Borne is rude. More gassing up takes place.

It’s time for tag team chaos, coming up next!

COMMERCIALS!

#1 contender’s match for the tag team titles: OTM vs. Swipe Right. vs. The Culling vs. Hank and Tank

It’s worth noting that this is one-fall to a finish, not an elimination match.

The bell rings, and Shawn Spears will start with Lucien Price. Spears charges him and gets thrown to the mat. He wants to take Swipe Right, but they are like we’re good lol. Bronco Nima gets the tag, and Spears finds himself in trouble. Swipe Right come in now, and Rickey Smokes gets smoked lol.

Smokes gets ganged up on by Hank and Tank with some double team offense. Hank with a scoop slam and a springboard splash from Tank for a two. Blind tag by Nico Vance and he smacks Tank one. Tank backs into the OTM corner and Price tags in. Price and Vance have the battle of the bulls, with neither man going down.

Price eventually drops Vance and then Spears. OTM take out Hank and Tank. Swipe Right are in and they goozle OTM, but that goes about as well as you would expect when Smokes and Baylor get dropped on everyone else outside. That’ll take us to the break.

Tank and Nico go at it during the break. Tank offers up his face to the fist of Vance, who proceeds to stomp the crap out of Tank. Vance corners Tank and Spears tags in. Baylor with the blind tag as Swipe Right team up on Tank. The cover, but Spears breaks it up. Shawn and Brad jaw at each other, and Shawn hits a neck breaker on Tank. Vance with the tag, he heads to the top, and his headbutt hits canvas.

BIG Hank Walker gets the tag, and he hits everyone that isn’t wearing a hockey jersey. Big flying lariat to Smokes from Hank. Hank with an airplane spin to take out Baylor. Hank sees Tank getting beaten up by Spears and Vance, so he flies out and takes them both down. OTM smash Swipe Right on the floor, but Nico takes care of OTM! Hank and Tank smash Nico! OTM take care of Hank and Tank! Double team pendulum bomb to Vance! The cover, but every team not named OTM break it up!

THIS IS AWESOME chants, as everyone is on the top rope, literally! QUADRIUPLE SUPERPLEXS, WITH OTM AND HANK AND TANK WINNING OUT! Hank and Tank gas each other up and they come face to face with OTM! Price posts himself, and Smokes sneaks in only to eat a Bossman Slam! Everyone hits the floor! Small package as Smokes nearly pins Spears! C-4 From Spears! The cover, but Jackson Drake breaks it up! OTM stomp out Drake! The announce table explodes, and in the chaos, Smokes shoves Baylor into the ring, and he pins Spears and they get the win!
WINNER: Swipe Right
TIME: 11:30
THOUGHTS: Started fairly slow, but it turned into a fun and chaos laden match. Not sure a purely heel match works with Swipe Right and DarkState, but it is what it is.
RATING: ****

Keanu Carver is the Progressive Spotlight. What do you want to know? Washington DC is a janky city, and he played football because he loved to hit running backs. He went to school because he needed money, and his coach thought he was all that, but he wasn’t. No one can contain him, not in life and not in NXT. Next week, Sean Legacy, you’ll feel it.

Mr. Stone is with Joe Hendry in the back. Since Hendry attacked Ricky tonight, he has to ask him to leave. He does, and Sol Ruca is here. She asks Stone where Zaria is before turning around and seeing her for herself. Zaria tells her to piss off. This friendship is over, and she can talk to Fatal Influence herself, then she can go to hell.

Well, okay then!

COMMERCIALS!

It’s about to get Fatal around here, as Jacy Jayne and the Fatal Influence are here! They enter the ring and everyone has a mic.

Jayne says you think she will come out here and complain about defending her title next week? But it is quite the opposite, because she is looking forward to this match. She wants to be vulnerable for a minute, but she is jealous of Sol Ruca. It’s true, but no matter what she has done, no matter how many times she has fallen, or no matter if she comes out here and has amazing match after amazing match, you still look her in the face and say Sol is a better champion than me!

Last year, she held both the NXT and TNA Women’s titles. She won this NXT Women’s Title from Stephanie Vaquer, who is walking into WrestleMania as Women’s Champion! Fallon says that people still put more stock into Sol than they do Jacy, and Jayne says it is true.

She watched Saturday Night’s Main Event from home while Sol represented NXT and not her. On her 13-hour trip back from Saudi Arabia, she had to hear about how Sol was in the final three! Lainey Reid says that despite all of this, everyone talks about Sol and not Jacy.

Jacy says that she is the better champion and she feels underrated. Sol Ruca is here, and she agrees with Jacy, no one is more enviable of her success than her. She has watched her for four years, and nothing has changed. Sol thinks maybe she should stop comparing herself to everyone else, but she knows that she needs to stop talking about her friendship with Zaria.

Jacy says you get it, you have to dump your best friend to get to the top.

Sol says that Jacy doesn’t understand how best friends work because she hasn’t had any. Zaria doesn’t stand in Sol’s shadow; she stands in her own shadow. Jacy has the title and the backup, and it still isn’t enough. You started Toxic, you turned Fatal, but Sol is going to make sure you’re no longer in control.

Fatal Influence attack Ruca. Zaria is here, but we don’t know who she is here for! Fatal Influence hold up Ruca, but Zaria spears Henley instead! She takes Reid and throws her outside the ring onto Jayne and Henley! Zaria approaches Ruca, she helps her up, and she hugs her! Yay friendship!

Eli Knight, Elio LeFleur, and Sean Legacy are in the back. Legacy gases them up, and Elio and Eli agree that the best man will win, and they fist bump.

Shill for the WWE 2K6 expansion pack, featuring Charles Montgomery Punk!

COMMERICALS!

Elio and Eli are going right at it right away, with three minutes on the clock. Overhead suplex from Knight gets him a two. Both men spill out to the floor, wasting valuable time! Elio is back to his feet first, but he misses a moonsault. Knight’s turn, and he hits a moonsault, but it looks like he hurt his ankle.

Back in the ring, Knight with a springboard leg drop for a two. Elio intercepts Knight, but his powerbomb is countered. Pins are traded by both men. Knight tries another roll-up. Elio throws Knight from the ropes but he lands on his feet. Sit-down powerbomb by Elio for a two. Both men trade bombs, and Elio flies into Knight from the top. Knight hits Elio with a SPEAR, Eli to the top, Elio with a German from the top, but time has run out!
WINNER: No one/Time Limit draw
TIME: 3:00
THOUGHTS: Frantic energy between two awesome wrestlers. They both may have lost this match, but one of them might win the war.
RATING: ***1/2

Mr. Stone is here. He says that the match is over, and usually, Jasper Troy would retain his title. But he is going to do something new; next week, Troy will defend his Speed Title against both Elio and Eli! And since there are three men in the match, there will be a seven-minute time limit! Booker T losses his damn mind lol.

Shiloh is losing his mind in the back and gassing himself up. Myles interrupts him and implies that Shiloh may not beat Page for the North American title tonight. Hill says he will show him a different side of himself, Borne says bring it on, but officials are here to break it up before anything happens. That was a segment.

COMMERCIALS!

Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey debate the geopolitical landscape in the back. Uriah says they are cut from the same cloth, as Dempsey stalks off. The Birthright (that name is official, it seems) are here. Lexis wants to know if Charlie is in, and Uriah says he is still thinking about it. King tells Connors that he can prove it next week when he faces Kale Dixon. Connors wonders how Stacks has proven it, and King says he hasn’t, but Stacks says he is marrying into royalty. Ariana Grace says she is the new TNA Knockouts Champion.

Mr. Stone has Fallon Henley in the back. He tells her that he is trying to find her competition for her Speed Title. Blake Monroe is here. She wants to brag about taking care of Jaida Parker. Stone says he thought the broken neck was an accident, but now he is not so sure. Henley tries to bring the attention back, but Monroe isn’t having it. Stone says that Monroe will partake in the Speed Tourney and she will face Thea Hail! Stone says you two have history, as Henley laughs and leaves.

Vic runs down the matches for next week’s show before the main event, coming up next!

COMMERICALS!

DarkState commiserate in the back. It seems like they need to refocus and get back on track before Tony takes them all out.

Zaria and Sol Ruca are in the back. Sol wants to know why Zaria changed her mind. Zaria says that she felt bad about some of the things that she said, and she wants to make sure that Sol wins the Women’s World Title form Jacy. Myles walks by. Sol asks if he is okay. Borne says yes, he knows exactly what he is going to do now.

NXT Men’s North American Title Match: Ethan Page (C) vs. Shiloh Hill

The bell rings, as Page grabs early wrist control. Hill flips out of it and sends Page to the mat. Page with a side headlock, but Hill with a headlock takeover. Hill winds up the arm of Page and goes behind. Page picks the leg, but he gets the drop toehold treatment.

Hill with a go-behind again, but Page gets to the ropes. Page admonishes the ref, and Hill shoves Page out of the ring. Page losses his mind and grabs a chair. Hill slides out of the ring, grabs the chair, and puts it back. Vic says that Hill’s brain processes faster than most. So, he’s smarter than the average bear?

Hill and Page play an interesting game of shoulder control to BOO and YAY chants. Inverted atomic drop from Hill, but Page off the ropes and he hits a shoulder tackle. Page grabs Hill by the hand, pulls him up, but Shiloh pops him with a standing Superman Punch! Hill sets Page on the top rope and hits a running knee strike, sending Hill to the floor.

Page grabs his title belt and enters the ring, but again Hill slides out of the ring and puts the title on its stand. Page uses this to his advantage to kick Hill to the floor. Page goes to whip Hill into the ring, but Hill does spin in the ropes and kicks Page in the face. The Vanity Project are here to distract Hill as we head out for what should be the final break.

Hill misses a clothesline and Page hits a big boot as we return from break. That gets him a two. Page with a rolling neck breaker for another two. Twisted Grin attempt, but Hill charges Page into the corner. Hill goes to the top, but Page clocks him with a right hand. Page heads up to the top, lands some rabbit punches, and he maneuvers Hill into an Avalanche Powerslam! Hill kicks out at 2.5!

The Vanity Project rip up a part of the floor outside the ring, as Page throws Hill out to the floor. Ethan looking Ego’s Edge, but Hill escapes and returns to the ring. Page rolls back into the ring and he runs into a double leg and punches from the challenger. Page cuts off his offense with a clothesline, but we see Hill rip out his tooth!

Page is too busy doing his grin, and Hill sneaks up from behind and does the same lol. Hill with clotheslines and a sidewalk slam. He hits the standing front flip, but the Vanity Project hit the apron. Hill knocks them all from the apron, and he tosses all three members on the outside! But he doesn’t see Page, who hits Hill with the Twisted Grin on the concrete! Back in the ring, another Twisted Grin connects, and Page’s title reign continues!
WINNER:
TIME: 12:20
THOUGHTS: I know I have given Hill a bunch of shit, especially for his promos, but the guy definitely has an unorthodox and borderline interesting move set. It didn’t matter, though, because Ethan Page is Ethan Freaking Page.
RATING: ***3/4

Post-match, Page and his back-up singers attack Hill, but here comes Myles Borne! He cleans house, and Hill takes flight and wipes out Vanity Project on the floor! Borne beats on Page in the ring, and Hill slides in a steel chair. Borne puts the chair around the ankle of Page and keeps demanding a title shot. Page keeps refusing, so Borne acts like he is going to stomp on the chair. Page begs off and says he will give Borne a title shot next week. This gives Borne reprieve, but the fans chant DO IT, so Borne stomps on the chair! Page emotes like he got shot with a 30-yacht-six and the refs are here to check on him.

And with that, we are done!
