Jushin Liger Announced for WrestleCon: Destination Minneapolis During Summerslam Weekend

Japanese wrestling legend and NJPW icon, Jushin Liger, is heading to WrestleCon: Destination Minneapolis. The convention announced today that Liger will be appearing at the convention during SummerSlam Weekend on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 (see below).
Liger will be taking part in the convention courtesy of Highspots. The convention is being held at the Hilton Minneapolis located at 1001 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The 61-year-old Liger retired from in-ring competition over six years ago, competing in his last match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 in January 2020. In his last match, Liger teamed with Naoki Sano in a losing effort against Hiromu Takahashi and Ryu Lee.
Jushin Liger did come out of retirement to wrestle once last year. He competed against Joey Janela in a four-minute bout at WrestleCade last November.
