Karen Jarrett Wants Younger Talent To Be Team Players More: ‘You Don’t Say No’
Karen Jarrett recently weighed in on what she’d like to see more of from younger talent — namely, not saying they won’t do what’s asked of them. Jarrett was on AEW Unrestricted and weighed in on the situation; you can check out some highlights below (per Wrestling Inc:
On wanting people to be team players in AEW: “I do what I’m told, that’s my job. That’s one of the issues I have with the younger generations, wrestlers, managers, any part of the business –- it is a job. We are there getting paid, you don’t say no. I have big issues with people that say no.”
On her tag match opposite Aubrey Edwards: “Even when they wanted us to have a match, I may have sent Jay Lethal some texts like, ‘I am not a wrestler, I don’t want to be a wrestler.’ But, it’s what my husband’s telling me to do, it’s what Tony [Khan] wants, we did it. You don’t say no.”
