During a recent edition of his Mic Check with Mr. Anderson podcast, former WWE Superstar Ken Anderson (aka Mr. Kennedy) discussed who he’d like to work with in AEW if he had creative freedom and potentially joined the company. Anderson specifically mentioned such talents as Dante Martin, Julia Hart, and Jon Moxley.

When a fan question asked Ken Anderson if he’d ever consider going to AEW, Anderson noted he was open to the idea. The wrestler added, “I’m open to anything really.”

Anderson named Moxley, noting that he’s a fan of his work. Anderson stated, “What’s his name? Dean Ambrose [Jon Moxley]. I really like that guy.” However, Anderson noted, “I don’t want to do any of the hardcore stuff,” while working with Moxley, as Moxley has a tendency to compete in hardcore brawls.

Anderson added on wanting to avoid any brawls with Moxley, “No, I don’t want to be taking back bumps onto Janice.” The panel also joked about Moxley “drowning” Darby Allin by stuffing his head into a fish tank with water during their I Quit Match at AEW WrestleDream 2025 earlier this month.

Darby Allin ultimately defeated Jon Moxley in the I Quit Match. Allin’s former tag team partner, Sting, made his AEW TV return at the event, evening the odds against the Death Riders. He also used his baseball bat to smash Moxley’s fish tank, preventing him from using it again.
