Kenny Omega recently looked back at when he had quite the wardrobe failure during a Wrestling Retribution Project taping. Omega worked as Scottr Carpenter during the doomed TV wrestling project, which was filmed in 2011, and on a recent Twitch stream he told the story of his wardrobe malfuction which occurred after doing a shooting star press to the floor on Luther.

“Tommy Dreamer was the person to say cut the camera,” Omega recalled (per Wrestling Inc). “I go over to Tommy and I’m like ‘Tommy, what the f**k?’ He goes ‘Kenny, we’ve got to cut it,’ and I was like ‘Why??'”

He continued, “And I’m standing up to Tommy like ‘Why do we have to cut it?!’ and he goes ‘Kenny your balls are hanging out.’ I looked down, fish hooked my tights, and that was it, that was my wardrobe malfunction.”

Wrestling Retribution Project featured talent like Omega, Luther, Chris Hero, Chris Masters, Amazing Red, LA Knight, Brian Cage, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows and others playing newly-created gimmicks. While the show received its goal of $100,000 through Kickstarter, there was not a significant amount of footage released until creator Jeff Katz began uploading the footage to his YouTube channel. That channel has since been terminated due to “multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted.”
