Note On Early Plans For WWE WarGames Match

A new report has a bit of an update on WWE’s current creative plans for this year’s WarGames match. Monday night’s episode of Raw saw Roman Reigns stand with The Usos and Solo Sikoa to fight back against 946 foursome of Royce Keys, OTM, and Carmelo Hayes. That led to some speculation that this year’s WarGames could be a four-on-four affair rather than the usual five vs. five match.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, that is not the case at least as it currently stands. The outlet cites a source within the company as saying that as of Monday night, the plan was for WarGames to consist of teams of five.

Details on who will make up those teams of five are not confirmed. While obviously the plan would seem to be The Bloodline vs. 946, WWE has not made that match official at this time.

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames takes place from Daikin Park in Houston, Texas on November 28th. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
