Kevin Nash Explains Why Wrestlers Would Watch Every Match In His Era
On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash explained the importance of watching every match on a show back in his day, a practice he feels is different from today. You can check out some highlights below:
On watching every match during that era: “Every night. You have to realize we didn’t have f**king phones. All you did was stand at the curtain and watched every match. No, you watched every match. Every f**king match. You got in, you got your gear — the guys that played cards played cards, but we weren’t card guys.”
On the reason to watch it: “We’re making sure guys weren’t using our finishes for high spots. But we watched everything because you want to see what’s getting a response, what’s not getting a response, how hard the crowd is. So, if three guys have done a test of strength, the last thing you’re going to do is to put time in, is go out and do a test of strength.”
