-Last week ended with The Mog Squad going after Aaron Rourke. Cap and Crew came out for the save, but Abrams hit his finisher our Rourke. It’s Cap vs. Abrams tonight!

-Nikkita and Sloane are vibing backstage and hype Sloane’s chance at Wendy’s Championship tonight.

Masyn Holiday (w/ Layla Diggs) vs. Gianna Capri

-Veronica Haven and Anya Rune are watching in the VIP Lounge. Once again, Xfinity is our mat sponsor. Gianna works the arm to start and talks some trash. Maysn uses the ropes to flip out and gets an arm-drag. Dropkicks gets a two count. Head scissors into a face plant. That was an abbreviated version of Devil’s Kiss. Holiday gets a sunset flip for two, but gets stomped and that gets a one count for Capri. They start trading strikes and Holiday wins the exchange. Back elbow lands from Holiday and she hits a modified Earthquake Splash. Gianna avoids the head scissors and clips the knee. She gets a roll-up with the ropes for the pin at 3:28.

-That was brisk. Not much here, but they weren’t given a lot of time. *

-Wendy Choo cuts a promo backstage and is ready to give Sloane a fight.

-It’s Gal has been spending time at his private reflection pond. Oh, this will be fun! He notes friends are overrated and he is ready to get back on the solo train. He announces the first even It’s Gal Mint Condition Open Challenge! Glorious!

Harley Riggins (w/ Kam Hendrix) vs. Romeo Moreno

-Romeo gets interviewed by Chuey before heading to the ring and he is ready to make some art. Brief lockup as Riggins lands a right hand. Heavy chop to the chest. Another, that wasn’t nearly as loud. Harley misses a series of clotheslines and Moreno hits a running big boot. Hendrix distracts and Harley uses that opening to hit his own big boot. Whisper in the Wind gets two! Harley hooks a reverse chinlock and then releases to deliver a forearm to the back. Moreno avoids another shot and hits an enziguiri. Both men down but Moreno up first and hits a clothesline. Step up enziguiri to Kam and one to Harley as well. Spanish Fly, but Kam holds Harley’s leg. Romeo off the top but gets goozled and a choke slam into a knee (that looked rough) finishes at 3:36.

-They didn’t get much time either, so it was about the same as the opener. Little sloppy in places as well. *

-Harley pillmanizes the leg after the match. Is he injured and this is the way to write him out for a bit?

-Timothy Thatcher yellos at his security (Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov) for their actions last week. He wants them on point for this next match to make sure nobody gets involved. He then moves to Succession III: He announces there will be new acquisitions making their debut. The winner of tonight’s Women’s Title Match will defend against Lyons.

Max Abrams vs. Cappuccino Jones

-We still have two more matches after this one tonight. Five matches seems to be a bit much for a show that runs less than an hour. Thatcher’s security is watching from the outside. Abrams puts the boots to Cap to start. Cap back with jabs to the face, but gets caught with a knee. A series of leap frogs from Cap and he hits a dropkick. Elbow in the corner! He misses a splash and Abrams hits a step-up enziguiri. Abrams with a knee to the gut and a leaping back elbow for two. He throws jabs in the corner and does a little dance, which costs him as Cap gets a head scissors out of the corner. He comes off the middle ropes, but Max meets him with a dropkick. Flipping Blockbuster gets two! Abrams goes ground and pound before heading up top. He mocks Jones and then misses a Froggy Brew Elbow. Jones with a backdrop and shotgun dropkick in the corner. Corner clothesline and Cap follows with a double ax off the top rope. Abrams with an enziguiri (a lot of those tonight). Jones back with a sit-out powerbomb for two. They trade strikes and Cap gets a running boot. Flying knee from Abrams. They both go for a cross-body and collide. The Mog Squad are out but so are Mathers and Holloway. Security pulls Sam away and knock down Mathers. Back in the ring Cap gets a knock down and comes off the top to the floor with a cross-body. Back in Cap heads up, but Valor is out and trips him as Abrams had the ref. Main Objective gets the pin at 6:22.

-This was okay, but not a fan of the finish. Thatcher also looks like kind of an idiot as his security is clearly heel leaning. **1/4

-PJ Vasa is here to watch the Main Event and whoever wins will come get their issue.

-SummerSlam: Minnesota!

Kai Kavari vs. Elijah Holyfield

-This should be pretty simple. Kavari with a hammerlock but Elijah gets to the ropes. He throws Kai across the ring and hits a shoulder tackle. Corner clothesline followed by a splash. Spinebuster! Uppercut finishes at 1:14.

Winner: Elijah Holyfield via pin at 1:14
-Exactly what it needed to be. SQUASH

-Tristan Angels says last week was an international tragedy! He is not done with the Championship, and his beef is Aaron didn’t get a convincing victory. That’s loser talk! He then takes shots at Braxton Cole, Harlem Lewis, and Starboy.

WWE Evolve Women’s Championship: Wendy Choo (c) vs. Sloane Jacobs (w/ Nikkita Lyons)

-Super, special in ring introductions. PJ and Karmen are watching from The VIP Lounge. Sloane blocks being sent into the corner and gets a roll-up for two. Wendy ducks a clothesline and gets a head scissors. Shotgun dropkick gets two. Sloane floats over the corner to the apron, but Wendy is ready for her and hits a modified Code Breaker as we take a break at 1:04.

-WrestleMania 43 commercial!

-Back at 1:51 with Sloane floating over in the corner and dropping Wendy off his shoulders, face first into the top buckle. Sloane with a whip to the corner and a sidewalk slam. Leg drop gets two. Choo with a roll-up for two, but gets caught with an elbow. Pump Kick from Sloane. Twisted Elevated Suplex gets two. Sloane hooks a head scissors as the crowd tries to rally Wendy. Blake breaks the news that It’s Gal’s open challenge is official for next week. Also we get a 6 Man with Cap and Friends vs. The Mog Squad. While plugging all this, Wendy has started her comeback. Handspring clothesline followed by a running boot in the corner. Molly Go Round gets a two count. They trade pin attempts and Sloane hits a head kick. Facebuster gets two! Sloane with a stand head scissors in the corner and she runs Wendy head first into the buckle as people are apparently looking for their own version of the Devil’s Kiss. Choo back with a suplex and brainbuster for two. Sloane counters The Dirt Nap and drops Choo face first from a backpack position. Sloane off the top with an elbow for two. Siren’s Song, but Wendy counters into Dirt Nap. Sloane counters than and sling shots Choo into the ropes. Electric Chair position, but Wendy slides off and gets The Dirt Nap for the tap at 8:52.

-Solid, but I never bought Sloane as having any chance here. Good for Choo to get her first successful title defense. I would make the switch to Lyons at Succession though. **1/2

-Nikkita doesn’t seem concerned with Sloane and stares at Wendy.

-Over in VIP, Karmen and PJ brawl with each bother and “tubi continued.” Guess, that’s a thing now!

Not a fan of having this many matches crammed into the show. I hope they don't use this formula again. Holyfield SQUASHING people is a good choice and I can go for seeing one of those every couple weeks. The Main Event was solid, but I wasn't as invested because Sloane had no chance. Lyons being up next could be fun though and as I noted, I would make the switch. As for the men, they didn't get much here this week. Cap and Friends vs. The Mog Squad continues and so far, the Mog Squad isn't hitting for me like Vanity Project did. We will see where it goes, but overall this week was just kind of blah outside Elijah. Better luck next week!
