Leon Slater is still your TNA X-Division Champion, successfully defending his title against Eric Young at TNA Sacrifice. Slater put his championship on the line against Young in the opening match of Friday’s TNA+ event. The match went just over 15 minutes and saw Slater defeat Young when he escaped a super piledriver and hit a Styles Clash, followed by a 450 to get the pinfall victory.
Young also debuted a new entrance theme for the match, coming out to USvsTHEM’s “The Cleanse.” He earned the title shot in TNA’s Feast or Fired match on Impact back in January.
You can see highlights from the match below. Slater has been TNA X-Division Champion for 251 days, having won the title from Moose at TNA Slammiversary 2025 on June 20th. His win over Young gives him 10 total title defenses thus far.
