As previously reported, Lio Rush suffered facial injuries during his match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, where he teamed with YOH against TJP & Francesco Akira. While it was announced at New Year’s Dash that Rush suffered a broken nose, Rush says that was not the case. According to Lio, he had no broken bones. However, he will no longer be able to appear at PWG Battle of Los Angeles.
He wrote: “Nasty spill last night on the ramp left me with a few stitches and a massive headache. No broken facial bones. Thank you to the #NJPW staff for taking care of me. I’ll be good. Unfortunately BOLA is out the question. See ya in a few weeks.”
